Every path on revelsystems.com returns a 301 to shift4.com/food-beverage, including /pricing/ and paths that never existed, so there is no Revel rate card left to check. Shift4's own Food & Beverage page carries one Revel line, pointing existing merchants at Revel support. Any $99/terminal figure you find for Revel in 2026 is from an archived page.

What it actually costs in 2026

Checked 22 September 2026: every path we tested on revelsystems.com returns a 301 to shift4.com/food-beverage. That includes the root, /pricing/, /pos-pricing, /restaurant-pos, /products/point-of-sale, /company/about-us, /contact and a path that never existed. It is a blanket edge redirect, not a set of per-page rules, so there is no surviving Revel page to read a price from quote-only.

Shift4's own Food & Beverage page carries a single Revel line: Revel is now part of Shift4, with a link sending existing merchants to Revel support. There is no Revel-branded rate card, no per-terminal figure, and no processing rate published. Shift4's restaurant product is marketed as Shift4 Dine.

We previously published $99/terminal/mo for Revel, sourced from its old pricing page. That page is gone. If you find a $99 Revel figure in 2026 it is coming from an archived copy or a directory that never rechecked, and you have no way to hold Revel to it. The only honest answer now is a Shift4 quote.

Existing Revel merchants are a different case from new buyers. Your contract, your terminals and your support path all still exist; they are administered by Shift4. Renewal is where the terms get rewritten, so treat a renewal as a competitive event and bracket it against SkyTab, which is also a Shift4 product, and against Toast and Lightspeed.

Owner questions

What does Revel cost per terminal in 2026?

Revel does not publish a per-terminal rate any more. Its website redirects to Shift4 and Shift4 publishes no Revel rate card. The number you want comes from a Shift4 quote.

Is the old $99/terminal figure still good?

No. It came from revelsystems.com/pricing/, which now 301s to Shift4 like every other Revel URL. Treat any $99 Revel figure published in 2026 as archived.

What happened to Revel?

Revel was absorbed into Shift4. Shift4's Food & Beverage page states Revel is now part of Shift4 and points existing merchants at Revel support. The restaurant line Shift4 sells to new buyers is Shift4 Dine.

I am an existing Revel merchant. What changes?

Support and billing sit with Shift4. Your existing contract terms stand until renewal. Renewal is the moment to get competing numbers, including from SkyTab, which Shift4 also owns.

How should I bracket a Shift4 quote?

Ask for the software fee per terminal, the processing rate as interchange-plus rather than a blended percentage, the contract length, the early-termination formula, and what happens to hardware if you leave. Get all five in writing before signing.

Recent changes (2026-09-22)

Verified 22 September 2026: revelsystems.com and www.revelsystems.com blanket-redirect to shift4.com/food-beverage on every path tested. Shift4's Food & Beverage page states that Revel is now part of Shift4 and links existing merchants to Revel support at support.revelsystems.com. No Revel-branded rate card is published anywhere on shift4.com, and Shift4's restaurant product line is now marketed as Shift4 Dine. We previously published $99/terminal/mo from the old Revel pricing page; that page no longer exists, so the record is now quote-only.
